1099-DIV adjustment for NJ

My 1099-DIV shows exempt-interest dividends (line 12). This is exempt for federal taxes but is still taxable in NJ. However, I cannot find a place to adjust this while doing my NJ returns.

    Hi vbajaj,

Make sure you complete the 1099-DIV correctly in the software when you fill it out. The dividend income will be reported on your NJ return automatically as long as the 1099-DIV box 12 and following pages are completed correctly.
