How to list residence?

I'm wondering which state I should list my residence as. In 2024, finished up at university in MI, and that's where I'm registered to vote, and where my car is registered. However, after university I moved to Montana for seasonal work and ended up spending most of the summer and winter there with intermittent time back in MI. I have spent 200+ in Montana than Michigan but with seasonal work, I often didnt have a permanent address. Should I list my address as Michigan or Montana? At what point do I have to list Montana as my address? Its confusing with seasonal work.

You will want to list your current mailing address as your address on the Taxpayer Information screen. However, it sounds like you are needing to know how to determine your residency for MI and MT, correct?
According to Michigan, "You are a Michigan resident if your domicile is in Michigan.
"Your domicile is where you have your permanent home. It is the place you plan to return to whenever you go away. You may have several residences, but you can have only one domicile at a time (MCL 206.18). That domicile continues until a new permanent home is established. Once established, your domicile can only change when all of the following criteria are met:
"1. You have a specific intent to abandon your old domicile,
"2. You have a specific intent to acquire a new domicile, and
"3. You are physically living in your new domicile"However, there are a few other considerations. Where was your resident state prior to college? "Out-of-state students who live in Michigan while attending school are not considered Michigan residents or part-year residents and should file as nonresidents. " Source
It may also be helpful to refer to the "Residency" heading on Page 6-7 here.
According to Montana, the following would be an example of someone who would not be considered a part-year resident of the state. "A resident of another state who works in Montana on a seasonal basis but does not establish residency in Montana." However, if you stayed longer than your seasonal job, you may be a part-year resident of MT. I encourage you to review the Montana Residency Guide to properly determine your residency there.
