Cost basis entered is not being used

I am entering an asset cost for depreciation for a rental property, but a different number is showing up and being used in the Depreciation Schedule. I only have the one asset.

Is anyone else seeing this issue?

    Was the number that is showing up carried forward from you 2023 return? What's the difference between the two numbers? What type of asset is it?
