Missing W2 -- how to file form 4852

Per IRS instructions (https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-4852), when an employer doesn't send a W2, it sounds like you're supposed to file form 4852 as a substitute. This form is listed on FreeTaxUSA as a form they will file (https://www.freetaxusa.com/forms/). However, I can't find where I would add this in the software, and the instructional page on FreeTaxUSA (https://community.freetaxusa.com/kb/articles/49-what-do-i-do-if-i-am-missing-a-w-2-or-a-1099) offers no guidance on how to do this in the software, it just gives generic advice on what to do when missing a W2.

Does anyone know where to enter in form 4852 in FreeTaxUSA so it is filed with my return?

    Hello Jakeheis,

You can file Form 4852 as a substitute W-2. To do that, enter your W-2 as you normally would using information you have (paystubs, etc.). At the bottom of the screen, answer that it is a non-standard W-2 and continue answering the questions from there. We can help you prepare the substitute W-2 Form 4852 and will walk you through how to mail your return.
