Can't Preview Forms 1116 and 6251

Form 1116 (Foreign Tax Credit) and Form 6251 (Alt. Min. Tax) are not available for me to preview. Both forms are applicable for me. How do I know if the forms will, or will not, be generated?

    Upon further review, my FTC is only $23 (<$300). My hand calcs for AMT Form 6251 show $0 AMT, which agrees with FT's blank entry for AMT on Sch 2 Part 1 Line 2. So I assume FT knows I don't have to file those forms, I guess.

    Yes, it is likely then that you do not need those forms. FreeTaxUSA generates the forms you need based on your entries into our software. If everything has been entered in correctly, then only required forms will show.

    If you ever believe that a form you need is not showing up, I would recommend that you contact customer support. Usually, when that happens, there is an error/typo in an entry somewhere in our software. Customer support can review your return and see where the error possibly lies or they can explain the form is not showing up.
