State underpayment penalty for Delaware

Hello - I'm helping a relative with her taxes. She lives in Delaware. When we did her Federal with freetaxusa, it applied the estimated underpayment penalty. However, when we did the Delaware state return, it leaves the underpayment penalty blank and assumes we want the state to calculate it for us. We don't want to do that, we want to pay the estimated penalty with the filing. How do we have freetaxusa calculate it for us or at least enable us to add the penalty to the amount due?

    Hello Alanvw,

The Delaware underpayment penalty form (DE2210/PIT-UND) is not currently supported in our software. After Delaware receives and processes the return, they'll calculate any underpayment penalty and send a bill in the mail if one is owed. You can find more information directly from Delaware here:
