where would I put the mileage deduction from working with GrubHub?

Great question! Since GrubHub drivers are considered self-employed, your mileage deduction goes on Schedule C (Business Income). In FreeTaxUSA, you can enter it by going to Income > Business Income (Schedule C). There you can report your business vehicle expenses, including mileage, which will reduce your net profit and the taxes you owe.
