CPA versus Tech Support

Hello, I guess my taxes are a bit complicated. I work in film and tv, married with kids, and I often have 1099, W2, and everything in between. I have a CASH PASS TROUGH LLC, I had a rental home with a property manger, I charge clients a "kit rental" for jobs using my computers and I sometimes work in more than one state.. Sometimes 3. I also will work W2 and I will sometimes collect unemployment in-between GIGS
I usually end up getting gouged by accountants to the point of my accounting fees are more than my taxes. I can't afford it anymore.
I am pretty tech savvy and can read through IRS forms, so I decided to do FreeTaxUSA this year. I have more than one year of taxes I am dealing with so I assumed it would be good for that purpose as well.
As I get deeper into doing my first year I am running into a lot of head scratches with depreciations, P/L that I could understand or get walked through with a little help.
I am willing to pay for CPA time, but I can't afford to pay them for the busy work I could do. I kinda also need someone to look at my last tax year to know exactly how to best do my taxes.
- Is there a CPA as part of FreeTaxUSA I can talk with on the phone or in realtime?
- Are my taxes too complicated to use FreeTaxUSA?
- Can a CPA log into my FreeTaxUSA account and fix the **** I messed up?
- Can I upload a filed return to somewhere and show someone how my taxes have been done so we aren't re-inventing the wheel?
- Is there a way to quickly REDACT my SS, Name and Address on my previous tax returns so I can post them without worry?
THANK YOU!!
HERE is a list of what I submitted for my last filed year.

FreeTaxUSA offer Pro Support, and they would be able to look into your account and see what you've already filled in. I don't know that it would be as comprehensive as a CPA, but their Pro offer page says "Experts standing by: When you have a specific question, you'll be able to schedule a call with a Tax Pro." which sounds like it might be useful in your case.

Just give your CPA your user name and password and have him sign in and take a look at your unfinished Tax return so far.

I don’t have a CPA, that’s the problem. I was hoping to have a CPA from TaxFreeUSA to look at it.

CPAs will use software similar to FreeTaxUSA to file your taxes, and it sounds like you could probably do your own taxes, if you had a little help the first year. It will get easier each year.
FreeTaxUSA's Pro support offers appointments with EAs and CPAs. You'll set up your appointment by starting a chat in the software.
At this point in the tax season, you'll want to file an extension and pay any taxes you think you'll owe, then schedule to talk with a Pro after April 15th.0
