Correcting State

edited April 11 in State Filing

It says I've entered "IL" as the state twice on two different lines in Box 15 of any W-2. How do I correct this?

It won't let me e-file if it's not corrected but I don't know how to change this.

Use the menu at the top to go income>W2 and there will be a button where you can edit what you put in there.

I know how to get there. There's the section with Box 15-20.

Underneath is the exact same thing, Box 15-20.

Both have IL as the state and I can't change anything.

Thank you for answering but I'm still stuck and going in circles lol

Did you already file? It won't let you change anything if you've already filed. My W2 is only showing one box 15, so I'm not sure how you have 2. Two box 15 on the same page?

I made it all the way to end and was like one click away from being done. I don't know why there's of the same area on the same page. Weird to have a duplicate section, at least I think.

The picture I took and sent had another copy attached lol. There was a detachable copy at the bottom of the form, and I took a picture of both parts so it came up twice.
