What if my employer ID shows all zeros?

My employer ID is all zero's and I can't file. Can I use my federal EIN

    I don't understand the question. By "employer ID", are you referring to an employer's STATE ID number? Did you have state withholding for that state? If you didn't, you don't need to enter the state ID number.

    My employer’s state ID number for Florida has been all 0's for the last couple of years. I could always file before this year. Now this year all 0's are not allowing me to file electronically

    Why would you need a state ID for Florida if Florida has no income tax? What effect does it have on your tax return?
