I filed my taxes with these people never again. They had me pay a fee for free taxes when filled the forms. I qualified for the free service, since I only made a certain amount in 2024 when I completed all the forms, it led me to a payment screen which asked me for payment. I tried to log off and begin the process, the service would not let me move forward or backwards until I have made the payment for my FREE taxes. Don't use this service. Then they give you a hard time just trying to speak with anyone. Don't recommend them at all.

    It sounds like you may have accessed our commercial website and not the Free File link provided by the IRS or your state. Unfortunately, only accounts created using the Free File portal and matching the offer criteria are eligible for Free File pricing.

    If you find yourself facing this in the future, you are always welcome to send a message to our Support team. If you had reached out to Support prior to filing, they would have been able to provide you options on how to proceed.
