    Hello,

    As of right now, there are no early payments of the Child Tax Credit. In recent years, there was only one case of advance Child Tax Credit payments and that was 2021 due to the pandemic.

    With the recent changes made to the Child Tax Credit, the maximum amount per child has been increased to $2,200 from $2,000. You will just claim it like normal when you file your 2025 tax returns next year.
