Log In Issues

I have not been able to log in to FreeTaxUSA for over 24 hours.

Let me specify that. I can log in. My log in information is correct but after I log in it just takes me to a blank page. Nothing. I see the FreeTaxUsA logo but that's it. Otherwise it's a blank page. Doesn't matter if I'm signing in for 2021, 2022 or even 2024. Nothing. I need to access my 2021 tax return to fix something with the state. Can you please explain what's going on.

Hi RichardB69,

Our software was undergoing some maintenance yesterday evening and that may have impacted your ability to access the website.

Here are a couple things you can try when you sign into you 2021 account:

1. Use an Incognito or InPrivate window in your browser. This bypasses any cookies or caching problems.
2. Clear your browser cache.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Try logging in again.
