How to change from married filing jointly to married filing separately?

We are filing separately this year.

However there's no option anywhere to change this. I can't scrap my return and restart. I can't change the way I'm filing. This is quite annoying. Do I really have to make a new account for this?

I'm just starting my return so I'm not amending. I just wanna change the way I file BEFORE starting my return

    Hello Sunshine123,

    If you have just started, you may not have reached that point yet. We first ask a taxpayer for their personal information (like name and SSN) and then the following page will ask about the filing status. If you have gone a bit past that point, you should be able to get there by going to Personal -> Filing Status.
