Data Retentition
I started my taxes in January. Now it is Feb 1 and I have been logging in a few times a day to the regular freetaxusa.com site.
Now, I learn that I won't have the necessary tax documents until March.
Question: Will all of my data remain on freetaxusa.com or does it need to be downloaded in the meantime?
How long are tax records retained? For Basic? For Delux? For Professional?
How long are uploaded forms retained? Are these available to the customer in the form uploaded?

Hello,
Your data is completely safe and will remain in your FreeTaxUSA account - there's no need to download anything in the meantime. You can continue logging in and working on your return whenever you're ready, and all your information will be there waiting for you when you receive your tax documents in March.
FreeTaxUSA retains all tax data for a maximum period of eight (7) years, calculated from October 31st of the IRS tax filing deadline year. This data retention policy applies uniformly across all service tiers - Basic, Deluxe, and Pro Support all follow the same retention period.
Uploaded forms are retained for the same seven-year period as your other tax data. You can access your uploaded documents through your account during this time. To view them, you can navigate to the section where you originally uploaded them, and they'll be available in the format you uploaded.0
