    Hello ptmccart,

If you have mileage for volunteer work, this can typically be entered under the Deductions & Credits > Donations screen inside your account with us.

If you are deducting any unreimbursed out-of-pocket expenses, such as the cost of gas and oil, directly related to the use of your car in giving services to a charitable organization, then in most cases, it can be entered either as an actual expense or using the standard mileage rate method.

The entry for actual expenses will be reported under the "Out of Pocket" expenses line. If you want to enter it using the standard mileage rate of $0.14 per mile to figure your contributions, then enter your miles in the "Mileage for Volunteer Work" section.

If you have any additional questions, please reach out to our Support team inside your account.
