Hello Hughes1987 and Brevetha
Did you claim the Earned Income Credit or Additional Child Tax credit on your tax return?
If so, due to the PATH act, the IRS cannot begin to process your refund until February 15th and they expect most tax filers who claimed those credits to get their refund at the beginning of March.
They also say that you should see an updated status on Where's My Refund around February 21st.

I didn’t file that but this is helpful anyway, will be on the lookout. Thanks! Btw if it does not update then should I call them? Also I filed back in 2023 and never received my funds, how do I go about that? I’m new to this, sorry

Hello Brevetha,
If you are not seeing an update to your account within a week of when you expect it, you can contact the IRS directly. Sometimes it can take longer than expected for the IRS to update.
If you didn't receive your 2023 refund, then any information about that would need to come from the IRS. You can check the status of your 2023 refund here: https://www.irs.gov/wheres-my-refund0 -
Processed State taxes in Feb 13 where is it release it plz

Hello Bostonbetty59,
I am sorry, but we do not have any information about your refund on the community. Please contact Customer Support on your account.0 -

Hello Bostonbetty59,
Once you submit your returns, we do not hear back from the IRS and the states about your refund status. Usually the best thing to do is to check online and you can check the IRS here:
Sometimes it just takes a while. The IRS may be verifying something on your account which requires an actual person, so it takes longer. But the Where's My Refund site should have the latest information about it.
