    My refund was rejected from bank cause routing number was wrong now how can I get my refund

    Hello Tijohnson26! If your bank rejected the refund due to the wrong routing number, the IRS will receive those funds back and then mail a paper check to the mailing address listed on your tax return.

    Once your return has been accepted by the IRS, the bank account information on the return can no longer be changed in our software. The IRS handles the refund from that point forward.
