Student Loan Interest Deduction

in Filing my taxes

Could someone please help me with the Student Loan Interest Deduction? I can see it under the Deductions tab, but it is grayed out and without a check mark next to it. Is it not accessible? I'm sure I did it last year. Thanks in advance

    Hi DavidD,

    Sounds like you had not yet reached the Student Loan Deduction screen and the software doesn't allow you to skip ahead.
