Is there a way to directly edit 1040-SR 5a and 5b for pension ?

Hi,

I have a unique scenario where I do not have a 1099-R from a United Nations pension. However I know the amounts to fill out on 5a and 5b of 1040-SR, however I cannot update these fields from what I can see in FreeTaxUSA. Any advice?

    Why didn't you receive a 1099-R?

    Hello WCLC,

    I recommend that you work at getting a 1099-R for that retirement distribution. In order to enter the retirement income, you must enter a 1099-R in the software. That way it will be reported on line 5a and 5b for the Form 1040-SR
