I have my son’s POA and need to do a paper return and submit along with form 2848 and a copy of the POA. How do I do that on your system without having the watermark on the return?

    Hi PercussionGuy,

    To get a clean copy of the return without the watermark, you'll need to complete the return in the software and select the option to mail it rather than e-file. Here's how:

    1. Go to Final Steps > Filing Method and select the option to mail your return.
    2. Continue through to the "Your Last Steps" screen, which will show complete mailing instructions for each return.
    3. Then go to Final Steps > Check Status/Print Tax Return. From there you can print a clean copy of the return without the watermark.

    Once printed, you can include the Form 2848 and a copy of the POA with the mailed return as needed.
