Attached file is missing from the preview

in Filing my taxes

I attached the summary statement (26 pages, 1.5 MB PDF) for the investment sale under “Final Steps.” It shows as attached. However, when I preview the tax return, the file doesn’t appear. Can I assume that FreeTaxUSA will still attach the PDF even though it’s not showing up in the preview?

    Hello jon987,

    The PDF preview of your return only shows the tax forms themselves. Uploaded attachments like your summary statement are separate and will not appear in the preview. As long as you e-file, the attachment will be sent to the IRS along with your return.
