Need to add an email and paystub for my W2 - where can I upload PDF documents?

    Hello Pres! FreeTaxUSA does not have a feature to attach or upload general documents like emails or paystubs to your return. The PDF upload option in the software is specifically for importing your W-2 form data to make entering your information easier.

    The good news is that when you e-file, you generally don't need to submit supporting documents like paystubs or employer emails along with your return. The IRS and state agencies typically only request those types of documents if your return is selected for review or audit after filing.

    If you do need to enter your W-2 information, you can do so by going to the Income tab, selecting Wages (W-2), and then clicking "Add W-2." From there you'll have the option to enter it manually, upload a W-2 PDF to import the data, or scan a physical copy.
