Unable to File an Extension - FreeTax is throwing an 'Error Page...'

Hello,

I am trying to file an extension for Fed & State, but the software errors out before I am able to submit. I have restarted my computer (Windows 11) Cleared all cache and browser history (Chrome Version 146.0.7680.165 (Official Build) (64-bit). I also tried Edge and get the same error message.

The problem started yesterday.

Here is the error message:

"Error Page

Oops! Something went wrong.

We've made note of this error and will look into what went wrong. Please contact customer support if you continue to experience this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You can sign back in to your FreeTaxUSA account now."

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Okay, I found the problem that I created!!! User Error, doh!

    For the state extension page, I had two blank States entered. Not sure how I did that, but once I deleted them, the problem magically was solved.

    Hello Clay,

    I'm glad you were able to figure it out. Please let us know if you have any further questions about your extension. Just a reminder: if you owe any taxes, it is still due by April 15th even if you extend. You should be able to make a payment with your extension or you can do so online.
