Is the 1040-ES produced by FreeTaxUSA transmitted?

I recalculated what I think I need to pay in estimated taxes for 2026, after filing.

Is the IRS expecting the amount calculated by FreeTaxUSA, or can I pay what I choose? Has the 1040-ES been transmitted to the IRS?

    The 1040-ES is a set of vouchers that you print out. You can use them to mail your quarterly estimated tax payments to the IRS. They are not transmitted; however, you do not even have to use the form. You can make estimated tax payments as often as you like online on the IRS website. Please review the information here.
