Where do I find my prior year AGI?
It's asking me for my AGI, but I can't remember what I put for last year. Where can I check what I put down?

Outfishing,
That is a great question! The IRS does require you to either enter your prior year AGI or PIN to e-file a tax return. Thus, it is important that you can obtain the correct prior year AGI.
If you filed with FreetaxUSA in 2021, you can view your prior year returns. Select 'Prior Years' from within your 2022 account in order to view the prior returns. The AGI is line 11 of your 2021 Form 1040.
If you filed with a different software provider and are unable to obtain records from them, you can request your transcript directly with the IRS. You can do so at the link below. Upon requesting your transcript, you can view your tax return transcript, which will show the 2021 AGI amount. You can request your transcript at the link below:

Finally, if you mailed your 2021 tax return, you may want to try entering $0 for your prior year AGI. The IRS does not seem to update the prior year AGI for e-filing if the prior year return was mailed. In that case, $0 should work.
