I’ve been on workers comp and just won a lawsuit. What taxes do I need to file? Do I claim the money as income?

    Hello,

Generally, speaking that income is taxable. The only income from a lawsuit settlement that is NOT taxable is an unlawful discrimination settlement/lawsuit. You'll need to report this 1099-MISC on the Other Income page.
