Raising AGI to contribute more to charity

We are donating an amount of cash to charity that exceeds the allowable 60 percent of our AGI. Can we do Roth conversions to raise our AGI for the purpose of keeping at that 60 percent limit?

    You could raise your AGI to change the percentage threshold - another option is that you can carry over any excess donations over the threshold into the next 5 years.
