I moved from Michigan to Virginia at the end of 2023 (December) and started working in Virginia beginning in the new year of 2024. I already have my tax forms for 2024, but when I go to input them, it is still making me submit a Michigan return, how do I remove this, and only do a Virginia return?

Our 2024 software is not yet open for state tax returns. That becomes available in 2025.

If you filed with FreeTaxUSA in 2023, our software automatically carries forward certain information, including the state returns you filed. You can delete the Michigan state tax return by going to the STATE section and selecting and confirming to delete Michigan.
