I had a tree removed in my backyard this year, will I be able to write that off on my taxes?

    Hello Tpringle_4688!

    You would be able to deduct those expenses if they were for a business.

    If this was for a rental property than it could possibly be deducted as an expense, you can check this IRS topic page for more information to determine if it counts as an expense:

    If this was for your personal residence, then it wouldn't be deductible.
