What are my options if I want to file as early as possible?

I need to file my taxes at the earliest possible date this year. What are my options between e-filing through FreeTaxUSA or a paper return?

    Hello,

    E-filing is always the fastest option for filing your return.

    The earliest possible date you can file depends mostly on when you have received all of your tax documents. Employers and 1099 payers are not required to send forms until January 31st.

    We usually allow customers to press the e-file button earlier in January, he first day that the IRS actually starts accepting and rejecting returns is usually towards the end of January anyways.

    Long story short, your return cannot really be filed until the end of January or early February.
