My daughter is q9 and worked all year. So I claim her on my taxes and she claims zero dependent on hers when she diles?

    It sounds like your daughter (age 19) is a dependent with income.

    Generally, dependents are required to file tax returns if:
    1. They have earned income over $13,850

    2. They have unearned income (Interest, Capital gains, etc.)

    3. Their combined earned and unearned income is more than the larger of $1,250 or their earned income plus $400

    4. They have self-employment income over $400
