Do you have to claim rewards gift cards for donating plasma if the total is over $600?

    Hi!

    Yes, you will report that income if you got more than $600 in value. You may receive a 1099 reporting the income. If you did get a 1099, you would enter the income into the software by going to the 'Income' menu, and selecting 1099-NEC/1099-MISC. Here you will enter the information as prompted by the software.

    If you do not get a 1099, you will enter the information in the 'Income' menu and then select 'Other Income'. You will put the income under 'Miscellaneous Income' and enter the information there.
