When will I get my federal tax refund if it has been intercepted, and sent back?

    I am not sure what you mean by "intercepted"? But if you are referring to it being rejected by your financial institution and sent back to the IRS, once the IRS receives it back, they will then mail a check to the address on listed on the first page of your federal tax return. The timing of this depends on your financial institution's return policies and when the IRS mails the check.
