How are royalty income and expenses from book publishing handled?

    Hi,

    There are two ways to handle in that.

    First, you would report the income and expenses on a Schedule C, if the royalty income is a usual, normal way for you to earn income from book publishing.

    Secord, you report the income and expenses on the Royalty Income page, if the royalty income is a secondary, minor part of earning income as a book publisher.
