Social Security disability payments are not taxable as income if it is the only income you receive. However, if the disability income is combined with other sources of income like Retirement plans, Interest, and dividends, a portion of the Social Security becomes taxable.
If your disability payments are your only income, you have no taxable income. The IRS doesn't accept $0 taxable income tax returns via E-File. You can always mail in a tax return with $0 taxable.
