Printed Return Fee Refund

I filed my 2023 taxes with freetaxusa.com at the beginning of December 2024, and at the end they said I am required to mail mine in; however, I also selected and was charged $22.96 for a printed copy of my return. How can i get a refund for the $22.96 since my taxes are still un-filed?

I was able to check your account and I have set the amount paid for the printed copy of your return to be refunded - this amount is $7.97. You will still need to print and mail your returns to the IRS and the state as soon as possible. The amounts that you paid were 14.99 for your state return and 7.97 for us to mail you a printed copy of your return.

For future reference, we cannot mail tax returns to the IRS and states on behalf of customers because we do not have authority to sign your tax return.
