I messed up big time on my 2024 taxes

I live in SC but work in VA. I tried following the steps to do a Virginia Married Filing Separately filing status but I accidently submitted a married return on the other account. Now I have to pay taxes on the other account but cannot submit the Virginia Married Filing Separately filing status one without filling my federal income etc. Should I wait to amend or just submit now and the IRS will reject one of the federal ones.

I recommend that you contact a Support Specialist after you sign into your FreeTaxUSA account to get help with this issue. Add Pro Support or Deluxe. Use chat and they can help you right away. If you e-filed that may require an amendment. Otherwise if you set it to be mailed you can unlock it and make the corrections.
