Form 5695 Heat Pump

I am trying to claim a heat pump installation on form 5695, but there is no option to do so. I only see Solar, Wind, or Geothermal as options. I have read the IRS tax website, and this should be an option. Please advise.

    Hello,

    Our software breaks down this section into several pages. The first one does ask about solar, wind and geothermal options. If you keep clicking on Save and Continue a few times, you should reach a page titled “Tell us about your energy property expenses”. There you should see an option to enter your electric or natural gas heat pump costs.

    If you are still having trouble, I would recommend contacting support as they will be able to view your account and see what you need to do to get to that page.
