i am new to this site. I have 3 w2s and 2 1099NEC, but i did not make over the standard deduction (if it matters) and freetaxusa asked me questions about QBI and said i was getting a deduction of just over $300.

last yeqr, i made more money, and TT automatically added the form 8995

Is this something that is supposed to be attached? or am i just to poor and it didn't bother??i just don't want the IRS coming back later saying i messed something up. I haven't filed yet because i'm so worried about this one form. TIA

ps, I am happy with everything as is as i compared it to TT this year and the numbers match…..its just this form not being attached bothers me….and I cannot see if TT attached it (just to double check) because i have to PAY before they will let me see it.

TIA

    Hi zackrand,

You should have usually have Form 8995 included with your tax return if you had any positive (or negative) business income. Did you report your 1099-NEC income on a Schedule C? If you did, but are still not seeing Form 8995 included on your tax return, please reach out to our customer support team, and they would be happy to discuss the specifics of your account with you.
