filing tax extension form wrong

I filed for a tax filing extension for federal taxes and put in that I was goning to get a refund, and it was accepted. But I now realize I calculated things wrong and I actually will owe a bit of money. Is there a way to fix the extension form? Or should I just send the IRS a check for what I owe (and if so, where do I find instructions for where to send the check)?

Hi Jennacarp,
I am sorry, but you cannot "fix" an extension. If you want to make an extension payment, after filing the extension, you may do that at the IRS Payments website.
