I filed my last joint return with deceased spouse. He died August 2023. This year, I have to file single. We have been filing with FreeTaxUSA for several years. While I attempted to go into our account to file for this year, it comes up with my deceased spouse's info first and I can no longer file with nim. Do I have to open a new account to begin filing separately or is there a way to file and use the same and eliminate his name starting this tax season?
