issue with Spouse IP PIN?

I am trying to file my tax return with husband as married filing jointly. My tax returned was rejected due to Spouse's Identity Protection Personal Identification Number invalid. We don't have IRS issued pin number. We picked a 5 digit numbers through FreeTax efiling couple years ago. It worked fine before. Since the federal tax return was rejected, the state did as well. I tried 4 times now, still rejected. I paid for state efiling. What should I do in this case?

The five-digit PIN you used for filing is not an Identity Protection PIN. The person whose IP PIN is missing should create or log in to his or her IRS account to see if there is an Identity Protection PIN assigned to him or her.
