in Filing my taxes

We recently received our temp residence visa for Ecuador and plan to live here full time. Do I need to use our US mailing address or an Ecuador address to file our taxes?

    Hi Tgraf,

    The purpose of providing the IRS your current mailing address is to make sure you get correspondences from the IRS. If you are concerned with mail getting to you in Panama, then you may want to use a US mailing address.

    Otherwise, it doesn't matter what mailing address you use.
