Hello,

I am at the end of my federal portion and haven't been asked to enter my 1095-C information. Is this normal?

I have seen 1095-A for Market Place but not the normal 1095-C

Please advise and thank you in advanced!

    Hello Javier 1002,

Form 1095-C provides information about the health coverage offered by your employer, including who was covered and when the coverage was in effect.

There is no longer a requirement to have health insurance coverage. There is no penalty for not having health insurance in 2024, so you don't need to enter your insurance coverage information on your return.

Some states do have penalties for not having minimum essential health care insurance, but you still do not need to enter information from a 1095-B or -C. There is usually a question asking whether you had the required coverage and your answer will determine whether or not you have to pay a penalty for not being covered.
