Missouri state joint return income apportionment

I've been using FreeTaxUSA for several years and am somewhat satisfied.

The first line of the MO state return apportions income between spouses based on data in worksheet 1 of the instructions according to the tax form. However I can find no way to access the worksheet or understand how income is apportioned between the spouses. While the combined total is correct, there is no way to validate the apportionment.

Has anybody else experienced this? Is there any way to validate the data?

Customer support reached out to me today and provided some guidance.

I reviewed the original income documents that i entered for the federal return. These forms identify which spouse was responsible for the income. The state form uses this information for the apportions. Seems obvious to me now that I understand it.
