Received both 1095-A and 1095-C in the mail

When I was switching jobs in 2023, I signed up briefly for the ACA in order to keep some form of health insurance. I let it expire in October of that year since my employer provided health insurance started. I used that employer-provided insurance for all of 2024, so you can imagine my surprise when I received a 1095-A for marketplace insurance saying I had coverage all 12 months of 2024, when I dropped it 2 months before that year had started. With this in mind, do I ignore the 1095-A, or does its appearance in my mailbox mean I **** something up?

It could be a problem. It sounds like the marketplace never properly processed your cancellation, which is why it shows coverage for all of 2024. You should contact the Marketplace (Healthcare.gov or your state's exchange) to confirm the cancellation and request a corrected 1095-A.
Basically, if a 1095-A is issued, the IRS expects it to be reported on your return so you'll need to figure out the situation with the Marketplace. The 1095-C is just for your information and records.
