On my W-2, it says Other at the top, then next to the amount, it has SDI, so I'm kinda confused on where to put it.
If this is CALIFORNIA SDI (you didn't specify, and several states have SDI), it can go in Box 14. It doesn't really affect anything unless you're itemizing your Federal deductions and claiming a deduction for state and local taxes.
