Can I use CalFile for CA tax return if I have a rental home and use Schedule E?

I thought I used CalFile successfully last year, and I have a rental home with Schedule E. Then I saw we couldn't use CalFile free if we have Schedule E or some other forms. Any thoughts about this? Do I have to file on FreeTaxUSA and pay the $14.99 for the state return?

On the CalFile website it lists that having a schedule E as something that 'disqualifies' you from using it. So I don't think you can use it this year. (I link the reference and page below)

If you want to file a schedule e with Turbo, it looks like you'd have to pay for their $139 package.

Paying $15 to file your CA taxes with FreeTaxUSA sounds way cheaper, so it's probably your best bet.

"Do not qualify: Claiming income or loss from rental real estate, royalties, partnerships, S corporations, estates, trusts, REMICs, etc. (federal Schedule E)"
