Helene and filing deadline option with FreeTaxUSA

I live in a county that has a Federal and State deadline of May 1 due to Helene. When I'm asked to enter a date to efile my return I can't select anything past 4/15. The later dates are greyed out on the calendar. Is there a way to make the program recognize the correct filing options?

Is it asking you the date you want to e-file, or the date you want to PAY by direct debit? Did you enter the appropriate disaster code for your situation?
Most software will not allow you to pay after 4/15 via direct debit; you have to mail the payment in yourself or pay online.
